Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR PhD
Nice to Have
- Extensive experience with software architecture, APIs, enterprise system integrations, and software development lifecycles.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, logical data modeling, entity relationship diagramming, and information architecture principles.
- Extensive experience with data warehouses, analytics platforms, reporting solutions, or cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Experience documenting complex systems, metadata, business processes, and data flows.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data stewardship, and data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA software lifecycle processes, privacy regulations, and quality management systems.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks or enterprise information management practices.
- Understanding role-based access control (RBAC), identity management, authentication, authorization, and information security principles.
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

- Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$178,400.00 - $267,600.00
- This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
- The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
