About the Role
Description
Rapid Medical is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures.
We are looking for a talented and creative engineer to join our R&D team and be a key player in our future development.
LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop innovative neurointerventional medical devices as part of the R&D team.
- Plan and execute verification tests for new prototypes and new products
- Prepare product documentation, including DHF and DMR
- Analyze test results and author detailed engineering reports
- Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to ensure design control compliance
- Lead design transfer activities, support pilot production, and transition products into manufacturing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from a leading university GPA 85+
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role
- Hands-on experience in the medical device industry – an advantage
- Familiarity with design control processes and standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820) – an advantage
- Proficiency with SolidWorks – an advantage
- Full proficiency in English, including reading and writing technical documentation
- Team player with strong communication skills, self-driven and detail-oriented
